About Us!
Simply put "We are a group of people who get together to help other people because we enjoy it!"
Located in the northeast corner of JoDaviess County in northwest Illinois we cover approximately
64 square mile and at any given time we serve approximately 3,000 people. This includes the villages of Warren
and Nora, as well as part of the Apple River Canyon State Park and parts of Wisconsin. We are a volunteer orginazation and members of MABAS Division 49. Our Station
built in 1963 houses six pieces of apparatus. One brush truck, one rescue unit,
two pumpers, two tankers. We have a storage building that keeps our reserve pumper and antique hand pulled equipment along with spare equipment.
We spend lots of hours training, maintaining equipment, fundraising, and regular buisness not to mention taking time to spend with our local
children and teach them Fire Prevention Education. When you walk through
our door you become one of us, part of the brotherhood and traditions that we are so proud of.
